The extra soft type was created in response to feedback from swimmers and coaches who have flexible joints and find the traditional soft type too heavy, or who feel that it puts too much strain on their joints.

Although it has the same shape as the soft type, the blade has been made more flexible, which relieves and reduces the strain on the feet and ankles when in use.

The foot pocket is designed to efficiently absorb the force of kicking and to adequately release the water's repulsion.
