How to use the drag belt
Share
Hello.
The Inter-High and Junior High School Championships are over.
Also, the summer JO has ended, so things may be calming down a bit.
The National Athletic Meet is approaching, and the season is finally coming to an end.
Let's not give up until the end and end the summer season with a smile.
As I mentioned before, I have recently decided to start a YouTube channel.

We will be providing videos explaining how to use the products, so please check them out.
This time it's about drag belts.
Some athletes and coaches may call it a parachute.
Think of it as a miniature swim chute.
The product is as follows.
The drag belt is a training item used for swimming with a weight attached to the back.
I think the only way to actually practice pulling something is to pull a tube.
If you are being pulled by the tube, your range of movement will be limited.
Also, if you are doing resistance training, you will be pushed back unless you swim fast.
However, with a drag belt you can turn, so you don't need to go as fast and you can swim long distances with a load (weight attached).
You will be swimming with water resistance exerted on your entire body, so you will need power.
It also leads to muscle strengthening.
The added underwater resistance also shortens the time required for long distance training, making it ideal for increasing power.
The usage is as follows:
When you actually swim, the load is put on you, which makes progress slower.
It's not like fins or paddles.
But because you'll be moving at a slower pace than usual, it'll be easier to pay attention to your form.
One thing to be careful about is that poor posture and body position can lead to lower back pain.
Until you get used to it, try practicing with a pull buoy or attaching a floating device such as a helper to the drag belt.
Please take a look at the video below to see the practice session with the buoy attached.
The pull buoy worn in this video is a "Heart Buoy."
We import it from Korea and handle it! We will explain Heart V in detail later. Please check the product description below.

You can maintain your posture by holding the pull buoy in place.
Once you get used to it, remove it and try doing training that involves maintaining posture while also applying pressure.
The following video is on YouTube!!
Each tool has its own purpose, so make sure to use them properly and find ways to become faster.
We will also be uploading videos on YouTube from time to time, so please check them out.
I think that many players have finished their summer season, but please try to use your training equipment in an innovative way so that you can perform better than in the winter season.
We also offer trial swims, so please feel free to contact us with any enquiries.
