Introducing how to practice with a short belt!
Share
Hello.
The Inter-High and Junior High School Championships are over.
Also, the summer JO has ended, so things may be calming down a bit.
The Intercollegiate Championships start today, and the National Sports Festival will be the last one of the season.
Let's not give up until the end and end the summer season with a smile.
As I mentioned before, I have recently decided to start a YouTube channel.
Channel link: https://www.youtube.com/@SOLTEC-SWIM
We will be providing videos explaining how to use the products, so please check them out.
This is the second installment about short belts!!
Last time, I explained the product and resistance training.
Resistance training is quite intense, but it will definitely help you build strength, so be sure to try incorporating it into your practice.
Here are three ways to practice with a short belt!
Please check out the video at the very end.
①This is the basic usage.
This means that it can withstand being pulled back at about 5 meters.
If you loosen it even a little, you'll be back at the starting point.
As I mentioned last time, shorten your breath and increase the pitch of your strokes.
The exercises are as follows:
②This method uses fins and paddles.
With fins and a paddle you can go further than usual.
Take advantage of this and try using a short belt to increase the load and power training. The method of use is the same as normal.
Your arms and legs will become tense and you will also be pulled, which increases the intensity and makes it a form of speed training.
I think there are some athletes who don't use equipment much because using fins in regular practice causes ankle pain or hurts their shoulders with a paddle.
It's a short, hard practice session, so you can use equipment.
③This is a method of practicing that includes turning practice.
In addition to resistance training, you can also use it to practice turns.
How do you all practice your turns?
The basic idea is to swim as hard as you can from the center of the pool, then turn and come back.
So, why not try practicing turns with a short belt to put more strain on your body?
★Practice method
Do a full wall kick, then turn and do a hard one.
In this case, the longer you perform the underwater movement, the greater the strain it will put on you.
Example: Hard 15 seconds after turn.
The important thing about the action after the turn is the underwater action.
This refers to a dolphin kick, a vassallo kick, or a single stroke of the kick.
You will be pulled by a tube and move underwater. I'm sure there are not many people who have experienced this before.
The following video is on YouTube!!
All three practice methods explained are included here!
Each tool has its own purpose, so make sure to use them properly and find ways to become faster.
We will also be uploading videos on YouTube from time to time, so please check them out.
I think that many players have finished their summer season, but please try to use your training equipment in an innovative way so that you can perform better than in the winter season.
We also offer trial swims, so please feel free to contact us with any enquiries.
