I went to the Central Championships!
Share
Hello.
The rainy season has finally arrived.
It's still humid, but the swimming competitions are still on so let's do our best!
This time I went to the Central Tournament for the Inter-High School Championships Preliminaries (Osaka) so I would like to give you a little update on what it was like.
This match will also determine participation in the Kinki Tournament!
Athletes from each school swam desperately towards their goal.
I also had the opportunity to talk to a third-year player who was nearing retirement.
There were many comments like, "It's the last one, so I'll do my best!"
The atmosphere at the games has returned to what it was like before COVID-19, and the cheering was lively!
I was able to talk to teachers from various schools for a little while, and the players remembered me and spoke to me, which made me happy!
Athletes who have made it to the Kinki Tournament should work hard in the remaining month to improve their times and advance to the Inter-High School Championships!
I'm rooting for you from behind the scenes!
We also hold trial swims, so please feel free to ask us.
Please say hello again if you happen to be at a match venue in Kinki Prefecture!
