Para Swimming ~Practice Contents~

Hello.
It's already cold winter...
Your body will also start to get cold, so be sure to take good care of your health.
There are also many winter competitions. Let's practice hard and get a good time in the races for the spring JO !!
Continuing from last time, this is about para swimming.
Through a fortunate opportunity, I was able to connect with a para swimmer.
As we mentioned last time, Mizukami uses the following products from our company!
We'll take a closer look at the training menu that Mizukami shared.
We will be reporting on the 20 50m warm-ups.
↓This is Mizukami's menu.
Contents↓
①100m WITH EXTRA SOFT FINS
50m crawl and backstroke
②100m WITH EXTRA SOFT FINS

③ 3 x 100m with extra soft fins and snorkel

④ 100m with extra soft fins and snorkel

⑥100m WITH EXTRA SOFT FINS, SNORKEL, PADDLE
25m one-handed swim (swimming with only one hand)
⑦100m WITH EXTRA SOFT FINS, SNORKEL PADDLE
25m each: one-handed swim (opposite hand in front) and one-handed swim (opposite hand at attention on thigh)
⑧100m with extra soft fins, snorkel and paddle
25 meters each, 3 times with the right hand and 3 times with the left hand, 6 times with both hands
It's simple, but that's what it is.
It seems that all of the swimmers use equipment to swim.
Due to Mizukami's disability, her training method involves starting with the larger movements one by one, and gradually working her way up to a state where she has no problems with any of them.
So there's a lot of use of tools.

The warm-up content varies depending on each school and swimming school, but the warm-ups for para athletes are also different.
However, I felt that the drill practice content was mostly the same as that of able-bodied people!!
If I have the opportunity to swim with you again, I hope to be able to share my thoughts with you.
Please check out our YouTube and Instagram accounts to see people swimming while wearing our products.
Mizukami is paralyzed on the right side of his body, so I can see that he cannot move his right leg very well, but he balances his body very well, which I think is amazing.
There are many different ways to look at para swimming.
Take a look and see how they swim.
We also hold trial swims! You can join us any time of the year.
We look forward to seeing you when new students join or when the swimming school is reorganized.
