Hello.
The National Sports Festival is over, and the off-season has finally arrived.
Let's refresh ourselves and continue training for the coming winter season!
The Japanese national team is going to the Asian Games!
Let's get inspired by the players and work hard at practice.
As I mentioned before, I have recently decided to start a YouTube channel.

We will be providing videos explaining how to use the products, so please check them out.
This time we'll be talking about Heart V, which originated in Korea.
We now carry this product and have begun shipping it!
Since some of you may be seeing this for the first time, I will explain.
First of all, what kind of product is HEART BUOY?
This is a new training item that originated in Korea.
It's a great addition to your regular pull buoy or a great new pull buoy!
It's called HEART BUOY, so it really is heart shaped.
It's a buoy, so it's basically a pull buoy.
This is what it looks like when you float it in water♥♡
It looks cute and even has a heart written on the inside!
There are two types of hardness.
Please note that the hardness varies depending on the color.
High hardness: Pink, blue, yellow (web-exclusive colors)
It has strong fixing power and is suitable for children and smart people.
Medium hardness: Light purple, sky blue, orange (web-exclusive colors)
It's comfortable to wear, has soft foam, and is designed for men.
Because the heart is open and hard, it is often thought to be "for men," but the Heart V is different.
Men have thicker thighs and legs than women, so if the opening is not flexible, they will not be able to be pinched in between.
If the opening is too stiff, it will not be able to be held between the thighs, so for the Heart V only, a softer opening is more suitable for men.
*The high hardness type is also suitable for men, so you may want to go to a store and try it out.
Now, how to use it?
It can be used in a variety of ways and has little buoyancy, so you will naturally develop a posture that focuses on your core and keeps your hips in place.
The trick to swimming faster with less shaking is to use the HEART BUOY to achieve a more beautiful swimming style.
There are four ways to use it.
① Hold it vertically and use it as a normal pull buoy.
It is just the right thickness, and automatically exerts force on the lower abdomen (abdominal pressure), helping to maintain posture.
By squeezing your opponent's body between the legs, you can kick using your core.
2. Attach it to your thighs and use it to kick while doing breaststroke.
The part that opens is meant to be clipped between your thighs. Try clipping the heart in different directions to see which makes it easier for you to swim.
The distance between your feet will automatically become the width of your breaststroke kick, so if you kick as is, you will be able to catch the water well.
With a normal pull buoy, the water will float too much and you will only be able to kick below the knees, but by using the HEART BUOY, you can maintain your posture and kick, allowing you to swim in a manner that is closer to swimming.
↓It is also possible to do it in the opposite direction.
3) Use it by clipping it to your ankle. By clipping it to your ankle, you can be more aware of your core.
It will not come off even if you clamp it around your ankle. Because your ankle is clamped in the HEART BUOY, it will not come off even if you turn. You can also see with your own eyes that if your core is not strong, your axis will be unstable.
It can be used in all four swimming styles, and it also naturally uses the lower abdomen (abdominal pressure). With a normal pull buoy, some swimmers have to close their adductor muscles to swim properly, and some swimmers float too much, putting strain on their lower back. For such swimmers, the HEARTBUOY is probably better because it allows them to naturally maintain their posture and is less likely to cause injury.
Also, with a normal pull buoy, you tend to focus too much on "not letting it come off," making it difficult to be aware of the essential axis and physical sensations, but the Heart Buoy overcomes this.
↓It is also possible to do it in the opposite direction.
④ You can also wear it on your hand and use it as a beat board to practice kicking or streamlining.
You can be conscious of your posture when kicking.
The kickstand is naturally fixed in place, so you can use it together with a snorkel to practice kicking while maintaining your posture.
It also doesn't float too much, so it can be used underwater.
It is easy to make quick turns and dive into 5m of water, and by using the HEART BUOY, you can check your posture and kick underwater, even during a Basalo or dolphin kick.
Comparison with FINIS Axis Buoy:
Axis Buoy |
Heart V |
> The structure is made of two pieces of foam glued together, so it lacks flexibility. The attachment part does not open or close.
|
> Made from a single block of foam, it is seamless and flexible to put on and open. |
> The foam density is low and it floats too much. |
> Made of high density foam, it neither floats nor sinks too much. |
> Cannot be worn on thighs |
> It can be attached to any part of the foot depending on the desired buoyancy and body sensation. |
