How to use the Edge Paddle
Share
Hello.
It's the rainy season, but there are also some extremely hot days.
The swimming season has begun, and the preliminaries for the Junior High School and High School Inter-High School Championships have also begun!!
The summer season has already begun!!
As I mentioned before, I have recently decided to start a YouTube channel.
Channel link: https://www.youtube.com/@SOLTEC-SWIM
We will be providing videos explaining how to use the products, so please check them out.
This time it's about edge paddles.
You may not know what an edge paddle is, but most people would know what a finger paddle is.
It looks like this. I'm sure many of you have seen it before.
↓Use by wearing it so that it covers your fingertips as shown below.
This is an innovative paddle that allows you to develop the sense of touch in your fingertips, which is usually difficult to achieve.
By covering all five fingers from the thumb to the pinky, you can train your sense of where to catch the water and be aware of the sensation in your fingertips from the time you catch the ball to the finish.
↓Be aware of the part (catch) below and develop the sense of grabbing water.
Here is an example of how to use it:
- Use edge paddle while floating your body with a pull buoy
- Use edge paddles when swimming
- Used together with the knee tube and ankle tube explained in the previous article.
It can be used in a variety of situations.
It grabs less water than the Stroke Maker so it doesn't gain as much speed.
However, if you are using it for rehabilitation after an injury, or if you feel like you are having trouble getting the hang of sculling (practicing only the catching part), try using an edge paddle!!
You will learn the feeling of catching water!!
In all four events, fingertip sensation is important. How well you can grip the water here is the key to swimming faster.
Use the edge paddle to your advantage and catch more water than others.
Let's get faster!
There are videos on YouTube of people using it to swim.
please confirm!!
We will also be uploading videos of how to use the product from time to time, so please check them out.
Please try using your practice equipment in a creative way so that you can perform better during the summer season.
We also offer trial swims, so please feel free to contact us with any enquiries.
